Vito Brunetti is the founder and principal attorney of Vito A. Brunetti, Esq., LLC. Mr. Brunetti has been practicing family law for over twenty (20) years and uses his trial experience to resolve cases that go to court. He has concentrated in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, relocation and domestic violence. 

 

Mr. Brunetti is a highly respected member of the New Jersey State Bar and also a graduate of Seton Law School of Law. In 2014, Vito Brunetti, was named the Hudson County Bar Association Family Practitioner of the Year. He currently a member (and past executive board member) of The Justice Virginia Long Family Law American Inn of Court.

 

Mr. Brunetti has been practicing family law in Hudson County since 1999 as a staff attorney at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services (previously known as Hudson County Legal Services). He was a relentless advocate for the community’s indigent community: advising and representing individuals who could not afford their own private attorney in the diverse areas of family law, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, relocation and domestic violence.

 

Mr. Brunetti started his legal career in the mid-nineties, serving as a law clerk for both the Honorable Joann Spatola and Honorable John Triarsi of the Superior Court of Union County. During his clerkship, he drafted Judge Spatola’s published decision: State v. Myrick, 282 N.J. State 285 (A.D. 1995), 659 A.2d 976.
